Meet Your Dentist
Dr. Charuta Modak
Dr. Charuta Modak is a dedicated dentist with over ten years of clinical experience committed to providing patient care through an excellent quality of service.
She prides herself on understanding each patient’s individual needs and providing adequate time to discuss their dental needs and conditions.
She loves interacting with people, sharing ideas, and appreciates the growth that it brings in her.
It is her mission to keep up with the latest techniques and methods in dentistry, build one-on-one dentist-patient relationships, and offer the most modern and comprehensive level of patient care.
Education and Advanced Training
Dr. Modak completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in India in 2008.
She attended the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she received her DMD degree in 2017 with high honors.
Since 2018, Dr. Modak has worked as a general dentist in private practice settings throughout Baltimore County and Howard County, Maryland.
She has completed more than 600 hours of continuing education. In 2021, Dr. Modak completed the AAID MaxiCourse® in implant dentistry at Rutgers University in New Jersey.
She is a certified Invisalign provider and is trained to administer Botox and dermal fillers.
Clinical Interests
Her areas of interest in dentistry include crown and bridge dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, and esthetic restorative procedures.
Dr. Modak enjoys prosthodontic digital workflows and has a keen interest in making them a larger part of her work.
She likes to use advanced materials and techniques, attend quality continuing education courses, and bring what she learns back to her practice.
She will be attending the Pankey Institute for advanced training in the spring.

She is actively involved in the community and supports many international and local charities, including Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC.
Outside the Office
Dr. Modak and her husband, Karan, live in Ellicott City, Maryland, and are blessed with two beautiful children—a 10-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son.
During her time away from work, she enjoys cooking, working out, playing tennis, reading, traveling with her family, and watching cricket and football.
